
HLI was asked to carry out an operation involving the lifting of ECO modules in Glasgow, Scotland. The team was responsible for the design and operation of a vertical transport system utilizing hydraulic strand jacks with a maximum capacity of 16 000 kN.
Scope of Work
- Total weight of a single module: 70 tons,
- Lifting height: 25 m,
- Installation and reinstallation of the supplied system,
- Full operation of the lifting system.


Step 1
Delivery of the ECO module to the lifting location using SPMT. Dedicated lifting devices are attached to the module to be lifted.

Step 2
The module is lifted onto the top of supporting structure and installed there.

Step 3
Delivery of the next ECO module to the lifting location, along with the assembly of the lifting system.

Step 4
Lifting and installation of the module.

Step 5
This operation is repeated until all ECO modules are installed at their work position.
