HLI received an inquiry to carry out overhaul works on the ECO module at the Sonae Arauco production plant in Beeskow. In July 2025, a team of more than 20 people—including fitters, welders, and management staff—took on this ambitious project. After 2,500 man-hours dedicated to the task, we were proud to look at the positive outcome of our work, marking a very successful debut in independently executing a refurbishment of this type of section. Our scope included the replacement of the old superheater in a 70-year-old facility and the installation of a new unit under extremely challenging conditions related to the quality of the existing components.

- Cutting out the installation opening
- Cutting out 116 old coils and transporting them to the surface through the prepared opening
- Cutting off the worn ECO package duct and transporting it to the surface
- Welding 116 flat bars between the coil and the hanger
- Transport and welding of 116 new coils
- Installation of a new ECO duct
- Direct welding and quality supervision
